“UWF Archaeology Institute Update on Downtown Archaeological Research”

Archaeological evidence of the colonial forts of First Spanish San Miguel and the British Fort of Pensacola, the Second Spanish Government District, and the colonial and early American town have been documented across downtown. Recent research continues to derive meaningful information from our shared cultural resources in a constantly developing urban environment.
PAS Lecture Series membership meetings will be held from 7-8 pm in the Activities Building (Choir Room) at TRINITY PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH at 3400 Bayou Blvd., Pensacola, FL 32503 www.trinitypcola.org. Entry to the Choir Room for PAS meetings will be through the back door under the covered entrance. The meeting begins at 7 PM. This door will be unlocked ONLY from 6:30 to 7:30 PM for security reasons. No pre-registration is required for the lectures.
