Description: Relive the 1800’s when families from the nearby communities would come to the historic limestone bridge to picnic, boat on the creek, explore the ancient trails through the nearby tropical hardwood hammock, play folk music, or just relax under the shade of live oak trees.
There will be guided trail walks, pioneer stories and games for children, archery and live folk music. Florida Public Archaeology Network will be highlighting some of Arch Creek’s prehistoric past during site walks and pottery making workshops. Hot dogs, snacks and drinks will be available to purchase.
