Historic Preservation Matters!Time: 8:30 am til 4:00 pm Location: St. Peter's Campus, 801 Atlantic Avenue, Fernandina Beach Description: This event offers a variety of programs geared toward historic preservation, plus history & archaeology activities for kids! Morning offerings include workshops designed for historic property owners and children's history & archaeology activities. The Florida Public Archaeology Network is dedicated to the protection of cultural resources, both on land and underwater, and to involving the public in the study of their past. Regional centers around Florida serve as clearinghouses for information, institutions for learning and training, and headquarters for public participation in archaeology.
