History at High NoonTime: 12:00 pm til 12:45 pm Location: Museum of Florida History, R.A. Gray Building, Tallahassee Description: Archivist and historian Johnathan Grandage will discuss the Joseph Janney Steinmetz collection of photographs housed in the Florida Archives. Visitors may tour the exhibits and have lunch at Fat Sandwich. Event will take place in the Museum theater and is free to attend. Related link: Click Here! The Florida Public Archaeology Network is dedicated to the protection of cultural resources, both on land and underwater, and to involving the public in the study of their past. Regional centers around Florida serve as clearinghouses for information, institutions for learning and training, and headquarters for public participation in archaeology.
