Junior Archaeologist Spring Break Camp
March 11-15, 2013 FPAN West Central staff partnered with the Tampa Bay History Center to put on a Junior Archaeologist Spring Break Camp. Campers learned to think like archaeologists while participating in hands on activities. 
Weedon Island Archaeology Day 2013
Celebrating 500 years of Florida history and Archaeology at the Weedon Island Preserve Cultural and Natural History Center. 
Cemetery Resource Protection Training (CRPT)
The Cemetery Resource Protection Training (CRPT) is a one day workshop on preserving historic cemeteries. The program combines classroom instruction with a hands-on cemetery conservation demonstration. 
Public Archaeology in Ybor City
During the Summer of 2011 and 2012, FPAN staff and volunteers from the University of South Florida Department of Anthropology conducted an archaeological survey at the Ybor City Museum State Park. Now we are branching out to other lots throughout Ybor City, make sure to check out our facebook page for updates on what we find!

The Florida Public Archaeology Network is dedicated to the protection of cultural resources, both on land and underwater, and to involving the public in the study of their past. Regional centers around Florida serve as clearinghouses for information, institutions for learning and training, and headquarters for public participation in archaeology.
