USF/Ohio State Archaeology Field School
This Album contains photos of professors, students, and volunteers involved in the Crystal River Early Village Archaeological Project (CREVAP). This USF/Ohio state archaeological investigations is a multi-year NSF-funded study of the dynamics of competition and cooperation in early villages. This work has focused on the famous Crystal River Archaeological site located in Citrus County, Florida.

The Florida Public Archaeology Network is dedicated to the protection of cultural resources, both on land and underwater, and to involving the public in the study of their past. Regional centers around Florida serve as clearinghouses for information, institutions for learning and training, and headquarters for public participation in archaeology.
