\"Pioneers, Runaways, and Snowbirds: An Archaeology of Sarasota-Manatee\" is an exhibit in the lobby of the Jane Bancroft Cook Library, on the New College of Florida campus, organized to celebrate the archaeo-heritage of Sarasota-Manatee for Florida Archaeology Month. The exhibit, free and open to the public during the library regular operating hours, will be on display for the entire month of March.

Various organizations will have information tables at the capitol rotunda for the public and our state lawmakers. This is an event to kick off Florida Archaeology Month and bring awareness to the issues facing our state\'s non-renewable cultural resources.
